Vacancy and Eligibility Details
IOCL is looking to fill positions in various engineering disciplines, including Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Instrumentation Engineering. To be eligible, candidates must not exceed 26 years of age as of July 1, 2025.
Applicants are required to have a full-time B.Tech., B.E., or an equivalent degree from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution. A minimum of 65% marks is mandatory for General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates, while a 55% score is required for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates. The selected officers will receive a starting basic pay of ₹50,000 per month, with a pay scale ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹160,000.
Selection Process and Application
The selection process is a three-stage procedure designed to evaluate candidates thoroughly:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): The first step is a computer-based test scheduled for October 31, 2025.
- Group Discussion (GD) and Group Task (GT): Shortlisted candidates will participate in a group discussion and a group task.
- Personal Interview (PI): The final stage involves a personal interview.
