Indian Railways Centralised Recruitment 2025: An Overview of Vacancies

The Indian Railways has announced a Centralised Employment Recruitment drive for the year 2025, inviting online applications from eligible Indian nationals. This recruitment aims to fill various Group-B, Group-C, and Group-D positions across different Zonal Railways and Production Units. The vacancies are being managed by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) under a series of centralized recruitment notifications.

Centralised Recruitment 04/2025 (Para-Medical Posts)

Application Process and Selection

The application process is entirely online. Suitable candidates must apply on any of the official RRB websites within the specified deadlines for each recruitment notification.

Application & Examination Fee

  • General Fee: ₹500. A significant portion of this amount, ₹400, will be refunded to candidates who appear for the 1st stage Computer-Based Test (CBT).
  • Concessional Fee: A reduced fee of ₹250 is applicable for candidates from SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PWD, Female, Transgender, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes (EBC). For these candidates, the entire fee of ₹250 will be refunded upon appearing in the 1st stage CBT.
  • The fees can be paid online using various methods like internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI, as well as through payment challan at SBI or Post Offices.

Selection Process

The selection process for most of these posts involves a two-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT). This will be followed by Document Verification (DV) and a Medical Examination (ME) for qualified candidates. The question papers for the CBTs will be available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional Indian languages, including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
