Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 20 and 28 years of age as of April 1, 2025.
Pay Scale: Successful candidates will be appointed on a pay scale of ₹24050-64480. The starting Basic Pay is ₹26730/-, which includes the base pay of ₹24050/- plus two advance increments granted to graduates.
Educational Qualification: A Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification is mandatory.

Local Language Proficiency – A Crucial Requirement

For candidates aspiring to join SBI as Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales), proficiency in the local language of the chosen state is paramount. Applicants must be proficient (capable of reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the specified opted local language of the state they are applying for. A dedicated test to assess this language knowledge will be conducted as a part of the selection process. This vital assessment will take place after candidates qualify for the main online examination and before they officially join the Bank.

Application Fee

An application fee of ₹750/- is required. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories are exempted from paying any fee. The application fee must be paid online only.

Recruitment Examination Process 2025

The selection process for the Junior Associates vacancies involves two main examinations:

Preliminary Recruitment Examination:
- This will be an online objective test worth 100 marks.
- The duration of the examination will be one (1) hour.
- It is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in September 2025.
Main Examination:
- This will also be an online objective-type examination.
- It will be conducted for a total of 200 marks.
- The duration for the main examination is 2 hours and 40 minutes.
- This examination is tentatively scheduled for November 2025.
