Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Officer Grade-B Recruitment 2025

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the recruitment for various Officer in Grade-B positions for the year 2025 (Advertisement No. RBISB/DA/03/2025-26). The bank is inviting online applications from eligible and qualified Indian citizens for this government job opportunity.

Vacancy Details

The recruitment drive includes a total of 120 vacancies across different disciplines:

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – General: There are 83 vacancies in this category. The breakdown by reservation is: 35 for Unreserved (UR), 8 for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 19 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 15 for Scheduled Caste (SC), and 5 for Scheduled Tribe (ST). Additionally, 11 positions are reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWD).
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR: This discipline has 17 vacancies. The reservations are: 6 for UR, 1 for EWS, 2 for OBC, 4 for SC, and 4 for ST. 5 positions are for PWD candidates.
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM: This category offers 20 vacancies. The reservations are: 10 for UR, 1 for EWS, 3 for OBC, 2 for SC, and 4 for ST. 3 positions are for PWD candidates.

Pay Scale and Eligibility

Pay Scale: The selected candidates will receive a salary within the pay scale of ₹78,450 to ₹141,600.
Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old as of September 1, 2025.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹850, plus 18% GST. A concessional fee of ₹100 plus 18% GST is applicable for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PWD categories. The fee must be paid exclusively through the online payment method.

Recruitment Examination Schedule

The selection process includes a written examination conducted in two phases, followed by a personal interview. The dates for the online examinations are as follows:

For Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – General: Phase-I will take place on October 18, 2025, and Phase-II on December 6, 2025.
For Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR: Phase-I is scheduled for October 19, 2025, and Phase-II for December 7, 2025.
For Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM: Phase-I will be held on October 18, 2025, and Phase-II on December 6, 2025.

Candidates who successfully clear both phases of the written examination will be invited for a personal interview.
