Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidates must not be older than 28 years as of December 31, 2024.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess a Full-time B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.(Engg.) degree from a recognized University or Institute, achieving a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
GATE Score Requirement
A valid score in the GATE 2025 is mandatory. Crucially, candidates must have appeared in the corresponding paper for the position they are applying for. GATE scores from 2024 or any prior years are explicitly stated as invalid for this recruitment.
Compensation and Career Progression
Training Period
Selected candidates will receive a monthly Stipend of ₹40,000 during their training. This stipend also includes Dearness Allowance (IDA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Perks calculated at 12% of the basic pay. The underlying pay scale for the training period is ₹40,000-3%-140,000/- (IDA).
Post-Training Placement
Upon successful completion of the training program, the trainees will be placed as Assistant Engineers in the E-2 pay scale of ₹50,000-3%-160,000/- (IDA).
