Summary of Vacancies and Compensation
NEEPCO is looking to fill a total of 30 Executive Trainee positions across three engineering disciplines. All successful candidates will be placed in the E-2 Grade with a pay scale of ₹50,000–3%–₹1,60,000/- (IDA). The maximum age for applicants is 30 years as of July 1, 2025.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Mandatory Qualification
Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2025 in the relevant engineering discipline to be considered for these positions.
Selection Process
The selection process is entirely merit-based. The shortlisting and final appointment will be based exclusively on the scores obtained in GATE-2025. Candidates who meet the basic eligibility criteria, including the minimum required percentage in their bachelor’s degree, will be considered. A final merit list will be prepared solely based on their GATE-2025 Scores. There will be no Group Discussion or Personal Interview.

Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee is required for certain categories:
- A fee of ₹560/- is mandatory for candidates belonging to the General, EWS, and OBC categories.
- Candidates from the SC, ST, PwBD, ESM categories, and all female candidates are exempted from the application fee.
- Payment: The fee must be paid through SBI ePay, favoring NEEPCO.
