AIIMS NORCET-9 Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025

The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is inviting applications for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-9 2025. This examination is for the recruitment of Group-B Nursing Officer positions across various prestigious institutions, including AIIMS Delhi, 18 other newly established AIIMS, NITRD New Delhi, JIPMER Puducherry & Yanam, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), AIIPMR Mumbai, Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) Ranchi, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Imphal, and Central Government Hospitals of Delhi.

Eligibility and Qualifications

To be eligible for the Nursing Officer role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification:
- Option 1: Hold a B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council-recognized institution or university.
- Option 2: Hold a B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution/university.
- Option 3: Hold a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized institution/Board or Council. Candidates under this category must also possess two years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring their educational qualification.
Registration: All candidates must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with a State or Indian Nursing Council.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old as of August 11, 2025.

Pay Scale and Application Fee

The recruited Nursing Officers will be placed in Pay Level-7 of the Pay Matrix, with a salary ranging from ₹44900 to ₹142400.

The application fees are as follows:

General candidates: ₹3000/-
SC/ST candidates: ₹2400/-
PWD candidates: Exempt from all fees.

All fees must be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

NORCET-9 2025 Examination Schedule

The recruitment process consists of a two-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT):

Stage-I (Preliminary Examination): Scheduled for Sunday, September 14, 2025.
Stage-II (NORCET Main): Scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025.
