The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), located in Prayagraj, is set to conduct the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination in 2025, offering a gateway to 210 prestigious government officer positions across the state. Eligibility Criteria and Application Process:
To be eligible for the UPPSC PCS Examination 2025, candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of July 1, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories in accordance with government regulations. A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is the minimum educational qualification, with specific roles requiring specialized qualifications.
The pay scale for these positions ranges from ₹9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of ₹4600 (except Naib Tehsildar whose grade pay is ₹4200) to ₹15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of ₹5400. As per the 7th Pay Commission, these scales are expected to be revised to ₹56100-177500. The pay scale for the Assistant Conservator of Forest is ₹9300/-34800/- Grade Pay – ₹4800/-, (7th CPC Pay Level-8 pay matrix ₹47600-151100/-) Group “B”, Gazetted.
The application fee is ₹125 for general candidates, ₹65 for SC/ST candidates, and ₹25 for PH candidates, payable online.
