IBPS 15th CRP Clerk Recruitment: An Overview
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will be conducting its 15th Online Common Recruitment Process (CRP) to select personnel for Clerical Cadre positions, specifically as Customer Service Associates (CSA), for the financial year 2026-27. This recruitment drive is for a number of participating Public Sector Banks and other Financial Institutions. The entire process, from preliminary to main examination, will be conducted online.

Key Details of the Recruitment
This recruitment, known as CRP CLERKS-XV, is a crucial step for any eligible candidate aspiring to join a Public Sector Bank in a clerical role.
- Participating Banks: The CRP will cover vacancies in 11 Public Sector Banks, including Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Indian Bank, Punjab National Bank, and others.
- Number of Vacancies: There are approximately 10,277 vacancies across various states in India, a number that may increase based on the banks’ needs.
- Pay Scale: Selected candidates can expect a pay scale ranging from ₹24,050 to ₹64,480.
Eligibility and Application
To be considered for these positions, candidates must meet specific criteria and adhere to the application timeline.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as of 01/08/2025. Age relaxation will be provided as per government rules.
- Educational Qualification: A graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India is mandatory.
- Application Fee: The fee is ₹850 for General category candidates, while SC/ST/PWD/Ex.SM candidates pay a reduced fee of ₹175. The fee must be paid online.
The online registration and payment of application fees are scheduled to take place from 01/08/2025 to 21/08/2025.
Examination Structure
The selection process involves two main stages, both conducted online: a Preliminary Examination and a Main Examination.
- Online Preliminary Examination:
- This exam is tentatively scheduled for September 2025.
- It will be a one-hour duration test with a total of 100 marks.
- The three subjects are English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.
- Online Main Examination:
- This is tentatively scheduled for October 2025.
- It will be a two-hour examination worth 200 marks.
- The four subjects covered are Reasoning Ability, General/Financial Awareness, General English, and Quantitative Aptitude.
Following the Main Examination, shortlisted candidates will be provisionally assigned to a participating organization based on merit, preference, and government reservation policies.
