NTPC Assistant Chemist Trainees Recruitment 2025: An Overview

NTPC Limited, a Maharatna company and India’s leading power generation company, has announced a recruitment drive for Assistant Chemist Trainees (ACT) for the year 2025. Vacancy Details and Compensation

NTPC is looking to fill 30 vacancies for Assistant Chemist Trainees. The breakdown of these vacancies by category is as follows:

Unreserved (UR): 15
Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 01
Other Backward Classes (OBC): 06
Scheduled Caste (SC): 06
Scheduled Tribe (ST): 02

During the training period, selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹30,000 per month. Upon successful completion of their training, these individuals will be absorbed into the E0 grade, with a pay scale ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹120,000.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Assistant Chemist Trainee position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a Full-Time/Regular M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized Indian University or Institute. A minimum of 60% marks is required, though pass marks are sufficient for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Age Limit: The maximum age for applicants is 27 years as of May 31, 2025.

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of ₹300 is applicable for desirous candidates. This fee must be paid through online modes only. However, candidates belonging to the SC, ST, PWD, and Ex-Servicemen (Ex.SM) categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
