Bank of Maharashtra Specialist Officer Recruitment 2024-25: A Comprehensive Guide

Recruitment Phases and Vacancies:

The recruitment is being conducted in two phases:

Phase 2: Applications are being accepted online from January 29, 2025, to February 17, 2025, for a total of 172 vacancies. These vacancies span several specialized roles within the following departments:

Information Technology / Digital Banking / IT Security / IS Audit: Positions range from General Manager – Digital Transformation (SMGS-VII) down to Manager – Digital Channel (MMGS-II), covering areas like IT Enterprise & Data Architecture, IT & Digital Projects, Information System Audit, DevSecOps, API & Interface, Middleware, Software, Cyber Security, IT Cloud Operations, IT Infrastructure, Data Specialist, and Network & Security.
Integrated Risk Management: Vacancies include General Manager – Integrated Risk Management (SMGS-VII) and Senior Manager (Risk Analytics & Risk Management) (MMGS-III).
Company Secretary: Deputy General Manager – Company Secretary (SMGS-VI) position is available.
Engineers: Openings exist for Civil and Electrical Engineers at various levels, from Assistant General Manager (SMGS-V) to Manager (MMGS-II).
Economist: Positions for Economist range from Assistant General Manager (SMGS-V) to Chief Manager (SMGS-IV).

These positions were in departments like Integrated Risk Management, FOREX and Treasury, IT / Digital Banking / CISO / CDO, and Other Departments (including Credit, Board Secretary and Corporate Governance, Economist, Security, Legal, Human Resource, and Business Development). Pay Scales:

The pay scales vary based on the position and scale, ranging from ₹64,820-93,960 (MMGS-II) to ₹156,500-173,860 (SMGS-VII).

General Category: ₹1180 (inclusive of 18% GST)
SC/ST Category: ₹118 (inclusive of 18% GST)
PWD Candidates: No fee

Selection Procedure:

The selection process will involve an online examination conducted by IBPS, followed by personal interviews (and potentially a Group Discussion) for shortlisted candidates.
