The Indian Army is seeking applications from qualified Indian nationals who hold a Law degree for Short Service Commission (SSC) positions in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Department. This is your chance to serve your country while utilizing your legal expertise.

  • Course: 35th Entry course commencing October 2025
  • Positions Available: 8 total (4 male, 4 female)
  • Eligibility:
    • Indian National
    • Law Graduate with a minimum of 55% marks in your LLB Degree (obtained either 3 years after your Bachelor’s degree or 5 years after your 10+2)
    • A valid CLAT PG 2024 score (applicable to all candidates, including those with LLM qualifications or who are currently pursuing an LLM)
    • Age: Between 21 and 27 years old as of July 1st, 2025
  • Pay Scale: 7th CPC Pay Level-10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month)
