Indian Navy SSC Officer IT Recruitment: June-2025 Course

The Indian Navy is inviting applications from unmarried candidates for the Short Service Commission (SSC) in Information Technology (IT) under the Special Naval Orientation Course scheduled for June 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill 15 vacancies for both men and women in the SSC Executive Officer (IT) [SSC X (IT)] category.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this recruitment:

Age: Born between 02 July 2000 and 01 January 2006.
Education:
- Minimum 60% marks in English in class X or XII.
- M.Sc., B.E., B. Tech., or M. Tech. in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Systems, Cyber Security, System Administration & Networking, Computer Systems & Networking, Data² Analytics, or Artificial Intelligence.
- MCA with BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science/ Information Technology).
NCC: Holders of an NCC ‘C’ certificate will receive a 5% relaxation in cut-off marks for SSB shortlisting.

Physical Standards

Height and Weight: Minimum height for men is 157 cm with proportionate weight.
Vision: Minimum acceptable distant vision of 6/12 in each eye, correctable to 6/6 with glasses. Color blindness and night blindness are disqualifying conditions.

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix, offering a salary range of ₹56100-177500. They will also receive other benefits as per Indian Navy regulations.
