Selection Process

The selection process for SSC Officers involves multiple stages:

Online Application: Apply online from January 7, 2025 (07/01/2025) to February 5, 2025 (05/02/2025) through the Indian Army website (https://www.joinindianarmy.nic.in/).
Shortlisting: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews based on a cutoff percentage.
SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a two-stage SSB interview process at designated Selection Centres in Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka), and Kapurthala (Punjab).
Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a medical examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.

Additional Information

Selected candidates will receive a training stipend of ₹56,100 per month during training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
Upon successful completion of training, selected candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenants in the Indian Army, with a pay scale of ₹56,100-₹1,77,500 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
