Calling All Qualified Women, UPSSSC Announces Recruitment Drive for Health Workers in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is seeking applications for a government job opportunity – Health Worker (Female). A total of 5272 positions are available for qualified women across various districts in Uttar Pradesh. Important Details:

  • Eligibility: This recruitment is open only to Indian citizens who have already passed the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) conducted in 2023.
  • Vacancies:
    • 4892 regular positions are available under the Directorate of Family Welfare, with reservations for various categories (UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST).
    • Additionally, 380 special recruitment positions are available specifically for candidates from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
  • Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-3 of the 7th Central Pay Commission, with a salary range of ₹21700-69100/- per month.
  • Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of July 1, 2024.

Application Process:

  • Applications can be submitted online only through the official UPSSSC website (http://upsssc.gov.in) between October 28, 2024, and November 27, 2024. Don’t miss this deadline!
  • A nominal application fee of ₹25/- needs to be paid online or through a challan at State Bank of India (SBI).

Selection Process:

  • As mentioned earlier, only candidates who have passed the UPSSSC PET 2023 are eligible to apply.
